We are a small batch coffee roaster located in the mountains of Northern Virginia, just outside our Nation’s capital, Washington D.C.

Our aim is to deliver to you truly amazing fresh roasted coffee. 

To achieve this we start with the finest beans we can source from the world over. There are farmers around the world who take great pride in in their coffee and take great care to produce the finest coffee.  

Did you know there are over 40 varietals of Arabica coffee? How about a variety of processing methods, i.e. removing the bean from the fruit, such as Wet/Washed, Dry/Natural/Sundried, Semi-dry/Pulped Natural/Honey? Each process impacts the flavor in its own way. You can begin to see that the possible variations of green coffee are extensive!

Then, there is the roast. The possible variations of how the coffee is roasted are essentially endless. We vary the start temperature, the air flow, the application of heat, the time of the roast and final roast temperature, all to discover what brings out the best flavor each coffee bean has to offer.

The good news; we use importers who have established relationships with the farmers who produce the finest quality coffee; we’ve sorted through that select list of green coffee to find truly exceptional offerings; and we've refined the roast for each coffee through extensive sampling in order to find a roast profile that delivers an exceptional cup of coffee!
